The mission of Team Challenge is to enhance the experience of sports and entertainment fans onsite, on-air and online through turnkey event planning, marketing and technology applications. Tom Belton - Managing Director, manages the day-to-day business of Team Challenge. Drawing on his background as the architect of F2C (fan-to-competition) applications and the team challenge series of events, Tom coordinates the evaluation and implementation of strategic opportunities and partnerships for Team Challenge. He is also a co-founder and CEO of Pro Team Golf League, LLC (www.ptgl.com), a start-up professional match play golf league where he successfully introduced Strat.e.golf in the ranks of professional golf. Upcoming events for PTGL also include an international World Cup using Strat.e.golf. Tom is also Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel for Quality Packaging Specialists International, LLC (QPSI), a New Jersey based middle market supply chain solution company serving Fortune 500 companies in the consumer product and pharmaceutical industries, and Promotion Execution Partners, LLC, a Cincinnati OH based promotion management and execution company. Prior to coming to Team Challenge, Tom was a corporate and tax attorney at one of the largest law firms in the country for over 20 years.
David M. Ranes - Board of Directors and Executive Committee – David is co-founder and Managing Director of Monumental Film Group, Inc., the principal owner of Team Challenge. After completing film school, David formed Guardian Pictures, a film development company that focused on developing high concept motion picture properties. During that time he also began his formal writing career with the motion picture scripts Eagle Scouts and Brimstone. David formed a development/production deal with Mr. Gerald R. Molen, and his company WhiteLight Entertainment. Mr. Molen is an Academy Award-winning producer of Schindler’s List and also served as producer on Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park II and Minority Report. David quickly became the in-house writer at WhiteLight and wrote Project: Safe Haven, The Mourning Dove, The Gatekeeper, and Lupin the Third. He has just finished the screen adaptation of the award-winning book Playing With the Enemy, slated for production later this year, which he is also directing. David has also been highly instrumental in overseeing the development of most of the WhiteLight Entertainment slate.
David’s keen since of story structure and creative understanding has enabled him to advance quickly within the WhiteLight company structure. He was recently made a partner and promoted to Head of Development. He is currently in pre-production as a producer on upcoming films Brimstone, Playing With the Enemy, Secret Service, and Parrallel. He is also an Executive Producer on the recently completed Take. David attended film school at Brigham Young University.
Jordan Randell, - Board of Directors and Executive Committee - Jordan has extensive experience in the entertainment industry. His career began in advertising working in Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada and the US. With the success of his own agency, he was offered a position with the management company LeMond Zetter Inc. in Los Angeles. Mentored by Bob LeMond, Jordan was trained as a manager/agent. LeMond Zetter Inc. represented such talent as John Travolta, Katherine Helmond, Gary Sandy and Ted Shackelford. Jordan moved on to become the international Casting Director for the television programs Star Search, International Star Search and Buscondo Estrellas Con Budweiser. Star Search discovered such talent as Sinbad, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, LeAnn Rimes, Rosie O'Donnell, Aaliyah, Ray Romano, Usher and Alanis Morissette. While at Star Search, Jordan also held the position of Vice President/Executive in Charge of Development for the motion picture company RBR Enterprises Inc.
In 1997, he co-founded a successful television/motion picture production company, DB Entertainment. From 1999 to 2002 he held the positions of Vice President and Executive in Charge of Development. DB Entertainment was responsible for the UK/Canadian co-production The Claim, distributed by MGM. Mr. Randell was the Executive Producer on the UK/Canadian co-production The War Bride. In 2002, DB Entertainment was nominated for a total of 10 Genie (Canadian Academy Awards) nominations, three for The Claim and seven, including Best Picture, Best Design, and Best Wardrobe for The War Bride.
In 2003, Jordan joined with Grace Gilroy to form the independent Canadian production company Password Pictures and in 2008, joined David Ranes at Monumental Film Group, to collaborate with like-minded producers, production companies and financiers from countries around the world.
